On Father's Day

Father is a safety guard, a roof, a sky, he is the kind of a certainty which a child can only feel. A father keeps every evil away, he himself faces all troubles but does not let his child in problems.

A child who has his father with him, is tension free as he knows his father is there to handle every odd. He knows that even if he commits a mistake, his father will scold him but eventually he will not be left alone and finally he will be saved of unfavorable conditions. A father is as hard as a coconut from outside but inside he is as soft as a coconut is. Many fathers don’t show their love openly as some think it will make their control lose on their children, some think that it will lessen their masculine power on family, but they love their children a lot. Very less children are able to understand the true love of their father. The hidden love of a father is not as overflowing as mother’s but its there in each of his heartbeat. The sacrifices of a father have never been an epic but they are there, how a father keeps working day and night to give his child the best of food, shelter, education and all comforts of life.

Father’s of 21^st  century are giving new dimensions to child-father relations. They are expressing love openly. They enjoy the growth process of children and even help mothers in their task of upbringing children. They develop friendly relations with their children so that their children may share every thought and secrets with them. This way a child does not go a wrong way or he is taken away from bad habits or hard conditions fast.

Being a son, I know how worried my father became when I got late in coming home in those days when cell phones were not there, how he cared a lot for my health, how he always helped me in my career.
